Call back a few weeks ago when we talked almost hobbies? I've been thinking a lot nearly the conversations we had in the comments, and I've decided to kickoff slow and take it like shooting fish in a barrel. My natural inclination is to jump into a challenging hobby, similar rock climbing or learning a new language, but since this is the year I'm going to care for myself with extra gentleness and TLC (that's my plan and I'yard sticking to information technology!), I've decided to do something different.

All the hobbies I explore have to exist simple, easy and fun. Hither'south what I got and then far:

Reading fiction purely for pleasure.

I've e'er loved to read, but and then somehow forth the mode I got the idea that if I read a book, I had to review it here on MBB or on social media to make it worth my fourth dimension. I'm going to let that become. If I really love something and desire to talk about, sure, I'll do that. No pressure level, though.

Fun, fun, fun

Listening to podcasts.

I mean, is this even considered a hobby? I don't know, but I similar doing it, and I can listen while I'chiliad walking, doing my hair or washing dishes. My electric current favorite podcast is NPR Life Kit. I like that the shows are 20 minutes or less and how I always larn something interesting or new. I recently but listened to ane on what to do if your car ever gets caught in a wink alluvion!

Sometimes I listen to a podcast, sometimes I just enjoy the sounds around me outside.

I've also recently bought an adult coloring book! I set an alarm to remind myself to practise it every couple days, even if information technology'south merely for 10 minutes.

I call back eventually I'll have more than time and more than free energy to open myself up to hobbies that button me more. For now, I remember this is a good start.
